How The Recalibration Method™ Was Developed
It was a cheesy start—fascinated with human performance and strength. I trained for hypertrophy, layered in calisthenics, mixed martial arts, and a handful of other disciplines. The drive to understand the body pushed me into a bachelor’s in biology, then a master’s in nutrition and kinesiology.
Years of intense training came with real costs—sacrificed friendships, family time, and career opportunities—and eventually the inevitable: diminishing returns and injuries that forced a hard stop. The choice was simple and brutal: live differently, or risk not living at all.
Doctors said the severe pain might be permanent. At one point I couldn’t use the bathroom without blacking out. Medical bills stacked up. It was a dark stretch—literally and figuratively.
But like the relentless mission in Terminator 2, the drive to master human performance and build real vitality didn’t die. I immersed myself in recovery and discovery—pulling from different schools of practice, bridging ancient and modern movement systems, testing unconventional but effective modalities. Over time I pieced together a methodology that wasn’t about vanity metrics; it was about feeling alive and strong. The aesthetic is the byproduct.
The Recalibration Method™ was born out of necessity—a practice that lets me show up fully for relationships and goals, and nourishes the whole system: muscles, tendons, ligaments, organs, senses, teeth, hair, skin—and yes, that radiant “chi.” The aim is resilience and antifragility. I also earned a second master’s in information systems and spent 6+ years in global corporate as a solutions consultant serving high-demand clients on tight deadlines—while running my insurance businesses. Through it all, I lived this method daily, continually refining it for efficiency and impact.
With 15+ years in holistic wellness, movement science, and personal reinvention, I understand the pace and pressure of high achievers. Clients describe me as “direct, supportive, and refreshingly authentic.” I keep things practical—simple, actionable steps that fit busy lives and quietly upgrade how you feel and perform with the executive edge.
